This week, the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Integrated Healthcare has called on Parliament to develop a strategy to include the integration of Complementary Therapies alongside conventional medicine. Their report highlights that in professionally-qualified complementary therapists, the UK has a hugely under-utilised, cost-effective resource which should be working in collaboration with conventional medicine providers to improve patient outcomes and ease the burden on the NHS.
