Treatment Room & Therapist

Meet the Therapist
I’m Nina Caton Gupta—a massage therapist specialising in safe, effective care for people with more complex health needs. That includes those undergoing cancer treatment, managing conditions like lymphoedema or lipoedema, recovering from all sorts of surgery, navigating pregnancy, or dealing with other situations that require a little extra care.
That said, you definitely don’t need a medical diagnosis to be welcome here. I’m just as happy to work with those seeking deep relaxation or simply a pause from the noise. My intention is the same either way: to offer treatment that’s thoughtful, responsive, and kind to your body.
My approach is gentle but precise—because nuance matters, and so does knowing when not to pummel someone. I’m less about forcing muscles into submission, and more about supporting what your body can do when given guidance, time, and a bit of kindness.
I’m clinically minded, well-trained (see below), and just woo-woo enough to believe in the healing power of warm towels—though I steer clear of the fluffier end of complementary therapies unless they’re truly evidence-informed. I’m also the kind of person who reads the instructions twice before opening flat-pack furniture—so your health history and any relevant information you share will have my full attention before your treatment begins. Your safety and comfort aren’t just priorities—they’re the foundation of my work.
Since opening my private practice in 2011, I’ve worked across a range of clinical settings, including physiotherapy clinics and a hospital. These days, I run a home-based practice in Kingston (having previously done so in Richmond). Most of my clients arrive via word of mouth and have been with me for years—which, honestly, is the best sign that something’s working.
As a sole practitioner, I’m able to offer highly personalised care and the kind of continuity that can be hard to find in larger, multi-therapist clinics.
Finding the right therapist matters. You need someone with the experience and steady hands to help you reach your therapeutic goals. If you’d like to know more about how I can help, feel free to get in touch.
