Postnatal Therapies
The postnatal period brings profound physical and emotional change. After the demands of labour, surgery, or both, the body often feels heavy, depleted, and in need of gentle, skilled support. These therapies are designed for the early weeks and months after birth, when rest is limited and recovery benefits from hands-on care tailored to you.
Each session is carefully adapted to your stage of healing, energy levels, feeding needs, and birth experience. Treatments support tissue recovery, reduce swelling, ease fatigue, and gently regulate the nervous system, with time for comfort, positioning, and rest.
For therapies that include a consultation — such as Postnatal Manual Lymphatic Drainage or scar care — the consultation can be done via video-call a day or so before your appointment. This means you can discuss your needs and treatment plan in advance, helping to minimise onsite time and making it easier to fit care around your baby’s feeding and routine.
Gentle, clinically informed treatments to support recovery after pregnancy and birth.
Postnatal Massage
Reconnect with your body after pregnancy and birth. Postnatal massage offers nurturing, restorative touch at a time when many women feel physically depleted or disconnected from their own bodies.
Treatment may help to:
-
Ease muscular tension in the back, neck, shoulders and hips
-
Support postural recovery after pregnancy and feeding
-
Encourage relaxation and better sleep
-
Provide a sense of containment & grounding during early motherhood
Massage pressure, positioning and pacing are always adjusted appropriately — whether you are a few weeks post-birth or many months in.
NB: If you are newly postnatal (ie within 6 weeks of your baby's arrival) and had physical complications with the birth eg a c-section or post-partum haemorrhage, please either wait until after your 6-week postnatal medical check, or obtain your Dr's permission to receive massage before your appointment.

Postnatal Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Reduce swelling and fluid retention after pregnancy.
Pregnancy places significant demand on the lymphatic system, and many women experience ongoing fluid retention after birth — commonly seen as puffy feet and ankles, heavy legs, abdominal swelling, or a general sense of congestion.
Postnatal Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmical therapy that supports the body’s natural drainage processes.
It may be particularly helpful for:
-
Swollen feet, ankles, legs or hands
-
Abdominal and pelvic fluid retention after birth or C-section
-
A feeling of heaviness or sluggish recovery
-
Supporting tissue healing in the early postnatal period
MLD is extremely light, deeply calming, and suitable even when you are feeling fragile or overtired.
Price:
Consultation & first treatment: 80 mins £125
Follow-up treatments: 60 mins £95 (package discounts also available)
C-Section Scar Therapy with MLD
Support healing, comfort and long-term tissue health.
A Caesarean birth is major abdominal surgery, yet scar care is often overlooked once the wound has superficially healed. C-section scar therapy uses specialist massage techniques to help remodel the appearance of the scar, improve tissue mobility and local circulation, while MLD minimises the inflammatory response and supports the nervous system’s relationship with the scar.
This work may help to:
-
Reduce tightness, pulling or numbness around the scar
-
Support optimal healing of deeper tissues
-
Minimise long-term restriction or adhesions
-
Improve comfort with movement and posture
-
Gradually soften the appearance of the scar over time
Treatment is always gentle, respectful, and only introduced when appropriate for your stage of healing. You will never be asked to “push through” discomfort.
Price:
Consultation & first treatment: 80 mins £125
Follow-up treatments: 60 mins £95 (package discounts also available)

Postnatal Reflexology
Whole-body support through the feet.
Postnatal reflexology offers a deeply restorative way to support recovery when energy is low and hands-on bodywork feels like too much.
By working specific reflex points on the feet, reflexology can help to:
-
Encourage deep relaxation and nervous system regulation
-
Support hormonal adjustment after pregnancy
-
Ease fatigue and overwhelm
-
Promote better sleep and digestion
It is particularly well suited to early postnatal weeks, or for mothers who want gentle, non-invasive support while their body recalibrates.
